By accessing and using Hyefin ("the Service", "the Application", "app.hyefin.com"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Hyefin is an encrypted personal finance and money management platform providing offline local-first SQLite storage, intelligent budget tracking, transaction categorization, multi-device cloud synchronization, AI-powered financial insights, receipt scanning, and credit-based tools including Price Tracker and AI Money Coach.

3. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and encryption keys.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account and on your registered devices.

4. Credit System & Hyefin Plus Subscription

Our service operates with free core budgeting, optional credit packs, and optional premium subscriptions:

• Complimentary trial credits are granted upon registration. Additional credits may be purchased in packages.
• Credits never expire and remain tied to your verified account.
• Hyefin Plus provides automated end-to-end 256-bit AES encrypted multi-device cloud synchronization.
• If you cancel your Hyefin Plus subscription, your data remains yours: you may download your complete SQLite database file at any time for local storage.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
• Share your account credentials or encryption passphrases with unauthorized parties.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or copy our software or cloud infrastructure.
• Use automated scrapers, bots, or unauthorized systems to overload the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original branding, software algorithms, interface designs, and functionality are owned by Hyefin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

7. Financial Disclaimer

Hyefin is for informational and organizational personal budgeting purposes only. Hyefin does not provide professional tax, legal, or licensed investment advice. Financial decisions made based on insight summaries or projections are your sole responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Hyefin or its team be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, device failures, or local storage corruption.
